2. General information

We only process personal data insofar as necessary to provide a functional website, our apps, and our services. Processing is carried out in accordance with the GDPR and applicable national data protection laws.

3. Scope

This privacy policy applies to our website ur-gaming.com as well as our mobile apps Pick11 and GridGuess for iOS and Android.

4. Data processing on our website

a) When visiting our website

Our servers automatically collect the following data:

Purpose: system security, stability, technical administration.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).

b) Contact form

If you contact us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email, message) in order to handle your request. We use the service provider Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA) to process the form technically. This may involve data being processed outside the EU/EEA; Formspree is contractually bound to appropriate data protection standards.

c) Cookies and local storage

We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Local storage may be used for preferences such as language and dark mode settings.

5. Data processing in the Pick11 and GridGuess apps

a) Registration and user account

Using the apps requires creating a user account. We process your email address, display name, profile picture (optional) and a unique user ID to store and assign your leagues, picks and scores.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance).

b) Firebase (Google)

Our apps use Firebase services provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, USA, including login/authentication, app data storage (database), crash reporting (Crashlytics) and usage statistics (Analytics). This may involve processing device identifiers, IP address, app usage data and crash logs. More information: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

c) Sign in with Google or Apple

You can alternatively sign in using your Google or Apple account (social login). In this case we receive your name, email address and a unique account ID from Google or Apple.

d) Advertising (Google AdMob)

Our apps display ads via Google AdMob. This may involve processing advertising identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID/IDFA), device information and usage data by Google to serve and measure ads. Personalized ads are only shown with your consent, which you can grant or withdraw at any time via the consent dialog in the app. More information: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for non-personalized ads.

e) In-app purchases and premium subscription

Premium features can be purchased via in-app purchases. Payment processing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive or store any payment or card data ourselves, only a purchase confirmation to unlock the feature.

f) Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your user account and associated data at any time by contacting us at info@ur-gaming.com. If the app offers an account deletion feature, you can also use it directly within the app. Deletion will be carried out unless we are subject to statutory retention obligations.

6. Recipients, transfers & international data transfer

Data is only shared if you consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), it is necessary for contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), we are legally obliged (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), or with service providers as described in sections 4 and 5 (including Formspree, Google/Firebase/AdMob, Apple). Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, in particular in the USA. Google LLC and Apple Inc. commit to appropriate safeguards (e.g. the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
